Reddy Mines is a licensed Ugandan precious-metals house. We purchase, refine and certify gold in Kampala – bringing regional doré up to international fine-gold standard through a controlled, responsibly-sourced supply chain.
Reddy Mines SMC Limited is a Ugandan-registered precious-metals dealer and refiner, and the East African operating arm of the Africa Mountain Gold group.
From our base in Kampala we buy gold from licensed regional suppliers and refine it to 999.9 fine – closing the gap between artisanal and small-scale production and the international bullion market. Every gram we handle moves through documented chain-of-custody, assay and reconciliation.
We hold a Mineral Dealer's Licence (MDL20260761) issued under Uganda's Mining and Minerals Act 2022, authorising us to deal in precious metals. Our refining capability is being commissioned as a 100 kg/day Aqua Regia line designed to take East African doré through to certified fine gold.
As part of the Africa Mountain Gold group – with trading and distribution anchored in Dubai – Reddy Mines connects Ugandan and regional gold to a global, compliance-led offtake channel.
Our Kampala line refines gold chemically using the Aqua Regia process – a proven, high-purity route trusted across the precious-metals industry.
Feed is weighed, sampled and assayed (XRF / fire assay) against a documented chain of custody.
Doré is dissolved in Aqua Regia – a controlled blend of hydrochloric and nitric acid (HCl + HNO₃).
Gold is selectively precipitated back out of solution, separating it from base and other metals.
Recovered gold is washed, dried and cast into bars or granules under quality control.
Final product is verified to 999.9 purity, reconciled and released with full documentation.
