Who we are

A gold dealer and refiner, rooted in Kampala.

We buy and refine gold from our base in Kampala, Uganda.

We buy gold from licensed suppliers in Uganda and the region, with know-your-customer checks and documented chain of custody on every lot. We hold a Mineral Dealer's Licence (MDL20260761), issued under Uganda's Mining and Minerals Act 2022, authorising us to deal in precious metals.

At our site on Upper Naguru Road, Kampala, we refine gold in our own refinery and assay laboratory, inside the Reddy Mines SMC Free Zone, licensed by the Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority.

The refinery

How our refinery works.

Our Kampala refinery uses the aqua regia process, a proven chemical route to high-purity gold. The site at Plot 10 also houses our assay laboratory, an effluent treatment plant, and melting and bar stamping.

Intake & assay

Each lot is weighed, sampled and assayed against a documented chain of custody.

Dissolution

The gold is dissolved in aqua regia, a controlled blend of hydrochloric and nitric acid (HCl + HNO₃).

Precipitation

Gold is selectively precipitated from the solution, separating it from base and other metals.

Casting

The recovered gold is washed, dried and cast into bars or granules under quality control.

Assay & release

Each bar is assayed, reconciled against its input and released with full documentation.
